That's what our visit to the new doctor felt like compared to the old one. This one actually has real nurses working in his office. Not just a couple of high school drop-outs.
One of the nurses came in first and went through a series of questions about how Brooke was feeling and what we can expect. It took about 10 minutes but when she walked out, I turned to Brooke and commented that we had already had more conversation with a health care professional in this office than all other visits to the previous one combined. The doctor also took his time to answer our questions and we are very happy.
The good news is that Brooke is doing fine. Any discomfort she's feeling (slight abdominal cramps, back aches, etc.) are perfectly normal. She's a couple of pounds behind on her weight gain but nothing to be concerned about. The doctor confirmed that the due date is Oct. 21st but I still believe 26th based on the fortune cookie (see the 2nd post).
We are reading to the baby every night and she feels the baby move quite often. I've yet to feel it move but hopefully soon.
We took this picture when we got home Monday night.
