Docs Just Come and Go Like Seasons...

We had a doctor’s appointment and ultrasound on Tuesday. We were able to see the four chambers of the heart, the head, the brain, abdomen, spine, arms, and legs. We are happy to report that the doctor gave Brooke and the baby a clean bill of health. He said both were progressing nicely. He visually measured the baby's abdomen, femur, and cranium and said we were doing fine with respect to size. Unfortunately, he didn’t snap any good screen shots so we don’t have anything to show. This was kind of the last straw for us (there were a lot of things we didn’t like about this doctor before now) and we have decided to switch doctors. Brooke has made an appointment to see a different OB/GYN in 3 weeks. This one comes highly-recommended by our good friends Kristen, Nathan, and little Sydney. Here’s little Sydney working on a pumpkin at our house this past Halloween.

We do have an updated picture of Brooke’s belly. She’s really starting to show now and she’s gained some weight.

Also, there have been some questions as to how to add a comment to our posts. Click on the time of the post (for instance, on the Key West post, click on where it says “8:45 PM”). This will take you to a page with just that post and you can scroll down and read all the comments made for that post. (2) If you wish to make a comment, there is a link at the bottom labeled “Post a Comment”. Click this and another window opens up. (3) Here you can type in your comment (keep it clean Pirate alum; keep it coherent Wolfpack alum). (4) Don’t forget to choose your identity from one of the three options. Unless you’re a “Google/Blogger” or want to remain “Anonymous”, click on “Other”. Then you will be able to type your name and web site (if you have one) below. If you don't have a web site, just leave that blank. (5) You finish by simply clicking “Post Your Comment” at the bottom. Hope this helps. We really enjoy and appreciate reading all of your comments.
